The Graceful - "Grace Kelly"

Another graceful style icon that I look up to is the beautiful and yes, graceful - Grace Kelly or Grace Patricia Kelly. Grace Kelly was an American actress who, in April 1956, married Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, to become Princess consort of Monaco, styled as Her Serene Highness The Princess of Monaco, and commonly referred to as Princess Grace.
Grace Kelly’s ascent from actress to the Princess of Monaco sounds more like a movie than real life. The Philadelphia native starred in films like “Mogambo” and “The Country Girl," for which she won an Oscar, before catching the eye of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco.
In the 1960s, as youth culture perpetrated a new, racier brand of femininity, Kelly remained a lady, integrating casual pieces into her wardrobe in a way that appealed across generations. She was true to the classic style by using beautiful fabrics, and tried to keep things simple. That was her natural inclination.
Kelly was also a member of the International Best Dressed List since 1960. During her pregnancy in 1956 Princess Grace was frequently photographed clutching a distinctive leather hand-bag manufactured by Hermes. The photographs popularized the purse and became so closely associated with the fashion icon that the purse would thereafter be known as the Kelly Bag. In 2005 Gucci re-launched its “Flora” line inspired by the scarf designed by the Italian house in 1966 for Grace Kelly; Francisco Costa’s Autumn/Winter 2007-08 collection for Calvin Klein included designs inspired by Helen Rose’s costumes for High Society; Vera Wang created in 2009 wedding gowns based on Kelly In April 2010, London's Victoria & Albert Museum featured a collection of Grace Kelly's clothes and accouterments, from her Philadelphia society days to her Hollywood stardom, to her Monegasque princesshood.
Well, I guess here we don't really need to say anything more about her style and popularity. Grace was in her name and elegance in her ways.
Thank you all for taking out time and reading. Have a graceful day. :)
